Dr. Mîndrescu is the head of the Nicodiab clinic. She is a primary care physician in diabetes, nutrition and metabolic diseases, as well as endocrinology, and received the international SCOPE certification in obesity management. Dr. Mîndrescu accumulated extensive clinical experience in over 15 years of activity in the National Dr. Nicolae Paulescu Institute, as a principal investigator in over 50 international clinical trials, and as the author of over thirty articles published in medical journals. For the last 10 years, she has dedicated herself to private medical practice.
Dr. Mîndrescu’s professional priorities revolve around participation in medical congresses, conferences and trainings, placing a strong focus on her patients’ medical education, and chasing the bleeding edge of therapeutic and technological innovations in the field.
Dr. Loredana-Andreea Ionescu

A graduate of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila”, and having practiced as a resident doctor in the University Center of Bucharest, Dr. Loredana-Andreea Ionescu has acquired an understanding of the complexity of diabetes and the various ways of managing it. Concerned with the latest technologies in the field, she comes to patients’ aid basing her practice on the latest research and clinical standards.

Psychologist / Clinical trials coordinator
Crina Matei is our clinic’s psychologist, as well as a coordinator in our ongoing clinical trials.
She is energetic, intuitive, with a fantastic capacity to listen, communicate and socialize. We think Crina is best captured through the words of philosopher Emil Cioran: “the art of being a psychologist is not something you simply learn, but something you live and experience”.
Felicia Bratosin
Medical nurse
Felicia Bratosin is a medical nurse with over 25 years of experience in the field of diabetes and metabolic diseases. For over 20 years, she has been working in 2nd, 3rd and 4th phase clinical trials. Felicia is part of our team since 2006, after completing nutrition studies between 2003-2006. She is efficient, honest and caring – a true professional!
Carmen Panaitiu
Medical nurse
Carmen Panaitiu is a medical nurse with over 20 years of experience in the field of internal medicine, vascular surgery and diabetes. She is a pillar of our clinical trials team, having obtained GCP and IATA certifications, and is licensed in nutrition and dietetics (2022). In addition to her professionalism, Carmen is best characterized by her ambition and thirst for knowledge.
